Oklahoma State University – Conoco Phillips Alumni Center
Located on the historic district of the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the Conoco Phillips OSU Alumni Center is a 52,000 SF, two-story steel structure with brick and cast stone veneer. The alumni center serves as the welcome center and gateway to the university plaza. It includes video and history displays in an area known as Legacy Hall, which features photographs, electronic exhibits and interactive demonstrations that provide a glimpse into OSU’s rich history and traditions.
The center provides the only location on campus dedicated to bringing alumni together with each other, students and faculty. The center includes a much-needed permanent home for the Emeriti faculty and staff council. It serves as a natural place for networking, pre- and post-game events and outdoor ceremonies on the lawn near Old Central.
This center also features a place to make phone calls or hook up a laptop, rooms to meet with other alumni or a place to gather with family members before sporting events. Visitors can watch two 15-foot projection television screens that will carry ESPN Game Day programs, as well as other games. It houses a number of meeting and conference rooms, lounges and refreshment areas, and a large banquet hall for special events. A central entrance and convenient parking are provided for the alumni.

Project Highlights
- The building is adjacent to “Old Central,” the oldest and first building on campus. Work was performed very delicately since it was close to the Class of 1905 Stone and the oldest tree on campus.
- Rich finishes were used that included hardwood and slate flooring, hardwood paneling, large exposed laminated wood beams and a massive two-story stone fireplace.
